Answer

  • ONTAP sends a GARP packet, and when the switch receives the GARP packet, it flushes the ARP table.
  • Therefore, no additional action is required after changing the IP address.
  • Please note that whether the switch correctly updates the ARP table depends on the behavior of the switch.
