Vscan Connection Interruptions with SMB3 Encryption

Issue

  • Nblade.vscanNoScannerConn errors reported intermittently when SMB3 encryption is enabled on the SVM
    • EMERGENCY” errors (Nblade.vscanNoScannerConn:Vserver “svm1” has no virus scanner connection) 
  • The Vscan connections are re-established within few seconds with the following events
    • Nblade.scannerDisconnected
    • Nblade.scannerConnected
  • Named pipe errors found at time of the issue in ONTAP Antivirus connector logs
    • [pipe: xxxxxx.xx.xxxx.xxxx][Read] GetOverlappedResult failed, err: <58> _closingQ: [0]  
      Retrying pipe-read for pipe: [xxxxxx.xx.xxxx.xxxx]  
      [pipe: xxxxxx.xx.xxxx.xxxx][Read] GetOverlappedResult failed, err: <64> _closingQ: [0]  
      Retrying pipe-read for pipe: [xxxxxx.xx.xxxx.xxxx]  
      [pipe: xxxxxx.xx.xxxx.xxxx][Read] GetOverlappedResult failed, err: <59> _closingQ: [0]
