Issue

  • Veeam backup and replication server can't be added
  • Error message triggered is failed to connect to host
  • Network connections between storage and Veeam client works fine
  • User may show authenticated as "null", even if setup credentials for CIFS authentication are correct:
  • MGWD.log:
[kern_mgwd:info:3336] Error: PAM failed to authenticate user 'null', application 'ontapi', vserver 4294967295: Permission denied
 
  • AUDIT.log:
