Unable to mount volume as local mount point doesn't exist
Applies to
- ONTAP
- NFS
- Linux
Issue
- Unable to mount the NFS export on a linux client:
# mount -t nfs 10.10.10.1:/test /mountdir
mount.nfs: mount point /mountdir does not exist
mount: (hint) your fstab has been modified, but systemd still uses
the old version; use 'systemctl daemon-reload' to reload
- When checking client's file system,
/mountdirpath is/mnt/mountdir
