ONTAP AV Connector polling fails with Error "Unable to connect to the remote server"

Issue

  • After upgrade to 9.2 and above, Vscan server shows disconnected.

Tue Mar 9 21:29:20 EDT [NODE-01: nblade2: Nblade.vscanNoScannerConn:EMERGENCY]: Vserver "VSERVER1" has no virus scanner connection.

  • ONTAP AV Connector polling using cluster management IP fails with Error "Unable to connect to the remote server"

  • Cluster management IP resides on port e0M.
  • Replication IP configured in admin vserver resides on different port a0a and it is in same subnet/network as vscan server.
