Issue

  • A device attached to the system is not functioning error reported when attempting to browse CIFS shares.
  • Packet traces indicate KRB5KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED errors when users attempt to connect to share with short name or fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of CIFS server.
  • CIFS connections work when using IP address of CIFS server (short name/FQDN fail).
