  • It is not possible to automatically delete older data in NetApp Storage.
  • There is no tool or script in ONTAP for automated deletion of files based on age.
  • It is essential to understand that ONTAP will only delete data in a volume when a request is received from the user or client. It does not autonomously
    delete files or folders.
