Issue

  • DNS names do not resolve only IP addresses work
  • Issue began after hardware upgrade and removal of old HA pair
  • Other SVMs can access DNS servers with different interface/routes
  • Packet captures show DNS queries going out other interface than intended interface

  • dns.server.timed.out:error messages are seen in EMS logs.
