DFS namespaces with targets pointing to folders within CIFS shares cannot be seen by Mac OS clients

Issue

  • When a Mac OS X client attempt to connect to a DFS target which points to a folder in a CIFS share, which is not in the root of the share, the MAC client cannot see any files or folders.
  • When connecting to the root of the CIFS share directly, files and folders are visible.
