Applies to

  • ONTAP 9
  • NetApp Cloud Manager (SaaS)
  • NetApp Copy and Sync (BlueXP)
  • Microsoft Azure

Issue

  • Customer is unable to add newly built Azure databrokers to existing databroker groups in NetApp Cloud Manager Copy and Sync due to failed installation.
  • When attempting to add, the group shows 'unknown' status and reports:
    • Attention: A unified configuration will be applied to active data brokers only. The configuration for inactive data brokers will be updated when restarted.
  • Creating the databroker through BluXP Console results in the error:
    • This resource was created without a plan. A new plan cannot be associated with an update.
    • This suggests that the databroker was created beforehand in Azure without a Plan.
    • A plan is an Azure Marketplace purchase record on the virtual machine containing the publisher, offer, and SKU.
