Cluster Management LIF unreachable after Upgrade

Issue

  • After Ontap Upgrade the Cluster Management LIF is no longer reachable
  • Node Management LIF on same port e0M is reachable
  • Network ping between switch and cluster-mgmt fail in both directions
  • In ARP table of the switch the cluster mgmt IP is not listed
  • In ARP table of the switch node mgmt and BMC IP is listed and reachable
  • No static ARP entry exists in ONTAP
  • Packet Trace shows ARP requests for cluster and node-mgmt are received on different network paths and replied to correctly
