Can vscan paths-to-exclude include wildcards?

Answer

  • The paths that can be excluded are folders that are already existing

  • Wildcards, asterisks (*) are not supported in the search path

::> vserver vscan on-access-policy modify -vserver svm1 -policy-name policy_1 -paths-to-exclude \vol1_svm1\qtree1_svm1\*

  • Request for Enhancement has been raised to address the use of wildcard
