Can different SVMs consolidate into the same directory?

Answer

No, it can not.
  • In ONTAP, the audit log destination path is per SVM and must exist in that SVM's own namespace. 
  • One SVM cannot write its audit logs directly into another SVM's directory. 
  • Each SVM needs its own /Audit_Log junction (or its own path) within its own namespace.
