Issue

  • CIFS share is inaccessible
  • EMS:
    • secd.dns.srv.lookup.failed 
    • secd.ldap.noServers 
    • secd.lsa.noServers 
    • secd.netlogon.noServers
  • DNS servers are reachable by ping test
::> network ping -vserver svm1 -lif lif1 -destination 10.10.10.1
10.10.10.1 is alive
  • DNS server check shows DNS server is down, unable to contact DNS server
::> vserver services dns check -vserver svm1 -name-server *
