Issue

  • CIFS mount gets disconnected sporadically with "permission denied" error on Linux server which is mounted as SAMBA and cannot identify its owner.
  • Doing ls and cd to the volume also gives permission denied error.

# 11 /mnt/mount1
ls: cannot access '/mnt/mount1': Permission denied
