  • After updating Windows CIFS clients to patch release KB5093998, users report slow access to files and directories
  • Packet trace shows clients repeatedly making calls for FSCTL_CREATE_OR_GET_OBJECT_ID even when ONTAP responds with STATUS_INVALID_DEVICE_REQUEST to indicate the operation is not supported
