- Windows Server 2016(Old AD) to Windows Server 2022(New AD)
- Initial State
Old AD1: xxx.xxx.xxx.101 Old AD2: xxx.xxx.xxx.102
- Adding New AD
- Launch new AD with the old AD's IP addresses, renumber old AD
New AD1: xxx.xxx.xxx.101 New AD2: xxx.xxx.xxx.102
Old AD1: xxx.xxx.xxx.105 Old AD2: xxx.xxx.xxx.106
Old AD1: xxx.xxx.xxx.105 Old AD2: xxx.xxx.xxx.106
- Issue occurred after demoting Old AD
New AD1: xxx.xxx.xxx.101 New AD2: xxx.xxx.xxx.102
