Issue

  • Access from Windows explorer to CIFS share works fine
  • Access to CIFS/SMB share is not possible from the client application
  • In the packet trace you can  see RST as the response from ONTAP to Negotiate Protocol Request from the client application:
2021-10-27 13:55:54    10.10.10.50    10.10.10.10    SMB    Negotiate Protocol Request
2021-10-27 13:55:54    10.10.10.10    10.10.10.50    TCP    445 → 47626 [RST, ACK]
