CIFS Authentication Failure Due to Invalid Domain User

Issue

  • When logging in with the local Administrator account, an error occurs even if no actions are taken.
  • No error occurs when using a domain user account.

Secd log shows:

[     6] Authentication failed with DC TSE. Not retriable. (Status: NT_STATUS_AUTH_NO_SUCH_USER(0xc0000064))
[     6] Login attempt by local user 'PC_name\Administrator' using NTLMv2 style security
[     6] 'F0026' is not a valid domain. Trying login as local user 'SVM\Administrator'.
