  • NFSv4.1 and NFSv4.2 applications experience increased latency for OPEN call after upgrading to ONTAP 9.18.1P6
  • Linux clients can stall for 5 to 5.5 seconds during OPEN operation
  • CLOSE requests racing with parallel OPEN requests can receive NFS4ERR_BAD_STATEID response
  • Multi-threaded applications repeatedly opening and closing shared files can experience this issue
