CONTAP-807589: NFSv4.1/v4.2 mount hangs indefinitely because a previous session from the same client is never released

Issue

  • A client disconnects from the server session and is unable to remount on NFSv4.1/v4.2 resulting in an indefinite hang.
  • Only mount attempts that present the same NFSv4.1/v4.2 client owner string as the previous session are affected.
  • NFSv3 mounts, NFSv4.0 mounts, other clients, and the same client using a different client owner string are not affected.
