Issue

  • In some ONTAP environments, NFS data LIFs can remain admin-up but operationally down after a LIF move event such as giveback, takeover/giveback, or a LIF move.
  • When this occurs, the LIF is not installed into the network stack and NFS access through that LIF becomes unavailable.
  • Physical ports can remain healthy while the affected LIFs stay down and repeated repair attempts do not recover them.
  • This issue is associated with NFS over RDMA being enabled on configurations that use T6 iWARP-capable network adapters for the affected NFS LIFs.|
