CONTAP-736113: Excessive Log Messages During NFS over RDMA LIF Bind Retries
Issue
On ONTAP systems using NFS over RDMA (NFSoRDMA), moving a LIF to another port on the same node can cause the RDMA listener to bind to the wrong host channel adapter (HCA). The system then retries the bind and writes the following message on every attempt:
Because each retry is logged, a single condition can produce a very large number of log entries and fill the log files. This defect tracks the reduction of that log volume.
Ror_Err: attemptbindaddr: wrong HCA: got <port>, expected <port> - retryingBecause each retry is logged, a single condition can produce a very large number of log entries and fill the log files. This defect tracks the reduction of that log volume.
