Issue

 Windows/File Explorer and other SMB applications hanging or timing out when accessing files after switch upgrade

  • SMB create/open operations can take an unusually long time and then fail/timeout after switch upgrade
  • The behavior may be node-dependent (more frequent when NAS LIFs are hosted on impacted node; takeover/giveback of the node can reduce symptoms)
  • NFS access is not impacted
