Issue

  • With DNS configured as a ns-switch source for hosts, but no DNS is configured and hostname rule is added to an export-policy rule evaluation will fail with a transient error.
  • When the next rule is an IP rule that can be matched the client IP address and the security combination of that rule is the same as the previous rule, access will be granted
  • When access protocol of first rule is set to 'nfs,nfs3,nfs4' and second rule is set to 'nfs' this is not considered identical and access will fail
  • This request for enhancement represents some customers' request to engineering if 'nfs' versus 'nfs,nfs3,nfs4' could be considered identical, allowing access.
