Issue

  • EMS message "lmgr.locks.limit.hit" incorrectly indicates lock-pool exhaustion when the session-trunked client limit (clients_st_limit) is reached, leading to operator misdiagnosis. 
  • This issue predominantly affects NFSv4.1/4.2 workloads on ONTAP clusters with session trunking enabled.
