Issue

When client workload involves opening a very high number of broken symlinks, it may happen that the rate at which some memory structures are allocated is higher than the rate at which the same number of structures is freed.
In that scenario it may happen that Cifs available memory is consumed completely leading to an outage.
The following command would show an always increasing value for "diskfile"
{}statistics show -raw true -object nblade_cifs -counter memory_budget_consumed_by_type{}{}Counter                                                     Value{}
-------------------------------- --------------------------------
memory_budget_consumed_by_type                                  -
                       Disk File                       1009076512  <------
