Issue

  • Backup Application unable to use SeBackupPrivilege/SeRestorePrivilege to read/write while overriding ACLs
  • SeBackupPrivilege/SeRestorePrivilege is part of BUILTIN\Backup Operators group
  • In packet trace create fails with STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED:
    89   2021-06-30 10:48:25.762629 10.10.10.15   10.10.20.55   SMB2 Create Request File: Test_Backup
    90   2021-06-30 10:48:25.762895 10.10.20.55   10.10.10.15   SMB2 Create Response, Error: STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
