Issue

  • During the upgrade from ONTAP 9.16.1 to 9.17.1, CVO unexpectedly shuts down due to an NVRAM version mismatch.
  • The SK process reports: NVRAM contents are invalid..." on release 9.17.1.
  • NVRAM check result: NVRAM version 48. Expected NVRAM version 50. on the affected node.
