Issue

  • After a reboot or take over give back (TO/GB) of a Node, the Node rebooted comes back up with the CFO giveback successful but could not SFO or giveback the data aggregate to its home Node.
  • Error message from the storage failover show-giveback command: "A conflicting volume or aggregate operation is in progress. Try again in a few minutes. "
  • Reviewing the event logs show and EMS logs, they are some with high response time from snapmirror: ha.giveback.sysVetoChk:info]: Subsystem snapmirror took 440293 msecs to check whether to veto giveback of aggregate 'aggr'.
  • Reviewing the snapmirror polices from auto support logs, there are synchronous snapmirror relationships and the culster impacted is both the source and destination for synchronous mirrors.
