Issue

  • Migration from an old AFF to new AFF, such as an AFF-8080 to AFF-A400 seems to show worse performance
    • 1 GB/s is expected such as on AFF-8080, but performance may only be 300-700 MB/s
  • High latency is seen if using indirect i/o (using a LIF on node 1, but the volume resides on node 2's disks)
  • SnapMirror testing (used as a baseline) of performance between one node and another only does 300 MB/s of throughput
