It will have the following impact if the VIFMgr is offline.

  • Unable to modify LIF.
  • LIF and port status become unknown.
  • Unable to do LIF migration or failover. 

Additional Information

In most cases the VIFMgr offline don't give impact to the LIF communitaion but in some cases it does have a impact to the LIF communication.
