Answer

Deleting expired certificates has no impact if the renewal procedure has been followed.
  • Renewing a certificate via System Manager or generating a new certificate via Cli will not remove the original certificate.
  • The old certificate can be deleted as long as it no longer used by Ontap or third-party applications.
