AutoSupport supports the following SMTP authentication methods:
  • PLAIN
  • LOGIN
  • STARTTLS (from ONTAP 9.15.1 onwards)
AutoSupport does not support the following SMTP authentication methods:
  • CRAM-MD5
  • XOAUTH/XOAUTH2
