Issue

  • When attempting to move certain volumes from old cluster nodes to newly added nodes with encrypted aggregates, the volume move operation fails. The error presented is:
Replication engine encountered an error. Snapshot was not found.
  • The issue only occurs when moving to the newly added nodes; moves between old nodes succeed.
  • Other volumes on the same vserver move without issue.
  • The affected volumes appear as type DP (SnapMirror destination) on both source and destination.
  • SnapMirror show does not list an active relationship for these volumes, but the type remains DP. (Snapmirror relationship was already broken)
