Unauthorized error received when accessing ONTAP web service (SPI)

Issue

  • When attempting to access ONTAP SPI using url "http(s)://<cluster_ip>/spi/" the user is not prompted for credentials and the below message is shown:

Unauthorized
This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required
