Issue

  • Repeated 'wafl.raid.incons.set.err.obj' EMS alerts generated on ONTAP cluster node.
  • Alerts triggered during FabricPool tiering operations to StorageGRID capacity tier.

[node-04-aff:wafl_cbin_cloud_obj_create_pr:wafl.raid.incons.set.err.obj:alert]: Data block at VBN35194480884617 tiered to capacity tier (objid11124441, slot927, btuuidbb7fab82-ff05-456b-95af-a485f2636d50, seqno16484658) and marked with error(121). Block previously had error(121).

  • Error code 121 (E_PSEUDOBAD_BLOCK) reported for blocks in historical snapshot data.
  • Customer requested clarification on meaning, impact to data integrity, FabricPool objects, and tier consistency.
  • No impact to production data or business operations reported at time of alert.
