  • ONTAP prompts /var boot directory is missing after replacing boot device.
  • Restore configuration backup has no effect.

Jan 07 15:25:48 [localhost:mgmtgwd.var.recovery:EMERGENCY]: Part of the /var boot directory is missing. This node is not fully operational. Contact technical support to obtain the recovery procedures.
