Local user account cannot authenticate after password expiry

  • Local user accounts that are created with a password expiration policy

Issue

  • When the local user's password expires, any login attempt returns error "ACCESS DENIED" and the user is not prompted to change password and cannot login.
  • Attempting to manually change the password also gives the error "ACCESS DENIED", and the user cannot authenticate with the old or new password.
