Large file write to FlexGroup fails even if there are sufficient space and elastic sizing is enabled

  • One of aggregates is 100% used

Issue

  • Writing 1TB data to FlexGroup where 2TB available  space.
  • Each constituents have 150GB available space.  
  • The following error is recorded in /mroot/etc/log/ems file

wafl.vol.full: Insufficient space on aggregate <aggr> to perform operation. 4.00KB was requested but only 1.00KB was available.
fg.space.member.full: Constituent 1451 in FlexGroup <FlexGroup> (fg-uuid UUID) is out of space.
