LIF is able to get to the gateway but unable to get to the host

Issue

  • CIFS/NFS hosts cannot get to a data LIF, network ping shows no answer.
  • Ping from LIF to gateway shows alive, network route from LIF to host shows a hop on the gateway but not reaching the host.
    • It could also show more hops other than the gateway but ultimately not show the end host IP.
  • Other LIFs with same VLAN can reach the host, and other LIFs on the same vserver and node can reach the host.
