Answer

  • No, the upgrade of the reference configuration file (RCF) is not supported
  • If a new RCF is required as part of a planned upgrade, the existing configuration should be wiped and a reload of the new config should be performed

WARNING

Wiping the existing configuration will need to be done over serial connection, as the ip address will also be removed from the switch
