Answer

No ,  Any modification to the standard RCF should be reapplied after the upgrade

  • Modifications to the RCF configurations are limited 
  • Manual modifications that would keep alive a continuous remote connectivity to the switch mgmt0 IP are not recommended.
    • A console connection to the switch is required when installing the RCF.
  • Consult the following documentation for installing and upgrading the Reference Configuraion File (RCF) on Broadcom BES and Cisco NX switches:
