Is it possible to restore a specific SVM configuration using a configuration backup from a different cluster?

Answer

  • No, configuration backups are intended to recover from a disaster that resulted in the loss of the local configuration files. 
  • There is no option is available for specific SVM configuration. 
  • All cluster configuration backups are designed for a complete restore and ONLY for the cluster that the back up was run on.
