Answer

  • In ONTAP 9 the web services via HTTP(80) are disabled by default.
  • Use the (privilege: advanced) "system services web modify -http-enabled false" command to disable HTTP for webservices on systems upgraded from ONTAP versions where HTTP was not disabled by default.
  • Alternatively, you can configure firewall policies or LIF service policies to block access to port 80.
