  • Autonomous Ransomware Protection(ARP)
  • SnapMirror
  • NetApp License File(NLF)

Answer

  • No, it is not MUST to apply the new NLF license to the SnapMirror destination ONTAP if no ARP and SVM DR in use.
  • Although the source ONTAP is applied with the new license to utilize the ARP function, the SnapMirror destination ONTAP does not require the new license if no plan to use ARP and SVM DR configuration in the destination side.
