  • This article describes the procedure to configure event filter and event notification to email, syslog destination.
  • Following system-defined event filters can be used for event notification setup for most basic requirements:
    • default-trap-events
    • important-events
    • no-info-debug-events

Notes:

  • For details of event included in these filters, refer to Step 3 of this article.
  • Including or excluding specific events has no impact on whether ONTAP logs those events in EMS.
