  • ONTAP retains volume move information in volume move show output for 7 days after the process is complete and accounting data/metadata has been cleaned up.
  • Note: certain cleanup processes may take time to complete (see below)

For tiered volumes, tiered source volume data may need to be removed via internal ONTAP processes and/or scans
