FlexGroup Constituent Rapid Growth to few aggr After ONTAP Upgrade

Issue

  • After upgrading ONTAP from 9.13.1P11 to 9.16.1P5,
  • Few FlexGroup -constituent  rapidly increased in size, causing specific aggr space used to reach 99% , while others remained at normal levels (e.g., 71%, 88%). 
  • FlexGroup configuration parameter “squelch” from 0 to “auto” about two weeks prior to the incident, aiming to address previous performance issues.
