Error: 'Root Volume Record Not Found' During ONTAP Cluster Image Validation

Issue

  • During ONTAP upgrade, the command cluster image validate returns an error :
 
Cluster ::> cluster image validate -version 9.XPXX
It can take several minutes to complete validation...
It can take several minutes to complete validation...

Error: show failed: Root volume record not found for nodes: Cluster-Node1.
Contact support personnel for assistance.
 
  • The command ring show shows the following
